Industrial Hygienist
Mrs. Bliss is responsible for anticipation, recognition, evaluation, prevention, and control of environmental factors or stresses arising in or from the workplace, which may cause sickness, impaired health and well being, or significant discomfort among workers or among citizens of the community, and advising/counseling clients on a broad range of environmental health and safety issues. She accomplishes this by performing field investigations and sampling for asbestos, mold, bacteria, chemicals, indoor air quality, and conducting various other industrial hygiene surveys. Mrs. Bliss is well-versed in the requirements set forth in USP <797> for Pharmacy Clean Room biannual sampling, and has developed and implemented sampling strategies to ensure facility compliance. She specializes in hospital indoor environmental quality and industrial hygiene surveys. Other responsibilities include expert witness research services, oversight of confined space surveys, asbestos project oversight during abatement, and complete project management.
Mrs. Bliss has over three years of experience working in environmental consulting.
